By accessing or using the Affida personal finance application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
Affida provides personal financial management tools, including account aggregation, transaction categorization, budget tracking, and net worth calculations. The Service connects to your financial institutions via secure APIs provided by third parties (e.g., Plaid).
The content and tools provided by Affida are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a licensed financial advisor or tax professional before making significant financial decisions. We are not responsible for any financial losses or damages resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on its calculations.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
Our Service heavily relies on integrations with third-party providers, notably Plaid, to sync your financial data. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of data provided by these third parties. Outages at your financial institution or at the data broker may cause delays in syncing.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Affida and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
In no event shall Affida, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@affida.example.com.
